Theresa Tyler

A native of East Tennessee and a resident of Norton Creek, Gatlinburg, TN, Theresa discovered her love of art later in life. While she grew up immersed in the beauty of the mountains, she made her career in financial development for social service programs and volunteered in government service.

After returning to Gatlinburg and working at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, she returned to the art she had enjoyed as a young mother. Theresa now is a full time artist working in fiber arts making soft sculpture dolls, baskets, woven scarves and ruannas, and handsewn purses and tote bags.
